Class Policies

Training Main Page

On this page, we will go over the different policies we have for our Students in our Temple's Training Program.

Temple Laws
First off, we expect ALL of our Students to follow the rules and guidelines set out for our Temple's Members in our Temple ByLaws, Temple Compact, and Personal Laws of Conduct...which can be found in the About Us section of our website. Even our Congregants (those in our Witchcraft 101 Lessons) who are not considered full fledge Temple Members, are expected to follow these rules!

Age Policy
Our Temple does not allow any minors under the age of 16 to enroll in ANY Temple Classes. There are NO acceptions to this rule! Our Temple does not allow minors between the ages of 16-18 to enroll in any Temple Classes unless they meet one of two MANDATORY requirements. 1) They are the minor child, ages 16-18, of a current Temple Member who is in good standing with the Temple. Or 2) The minor, ages 16-18, can provide a notarized letter of permission from BOTH parents or guardians, even if they are divorced AND the High Priestess talks to BOTH of these parents and guardians.

Attendance Policy
We expect our Students to have good attendance for lessons. Students who have not completed three lessons in a row, or miss a total of six lessons, they will be dropped from the class roster. A student who is dropped from the class roster will have the chance to pay a $5 fee to re-enroll in the next set of their lessons. The Student will only be able to do this once. After the Student uses their one time option of paying $5 to re-enroll, if they are dropped for non-attendance again, they will NOT be allowed to re-enroll.

Un-Enrolling
Students who have something come up in their lives and are unable to complete their lessons with our Temple, are able to "Discontinue" their classes. Students who contact us to un-enroll will be eligible to re-enroll in classes with our Temple at a later date without being charged the $5 re-enrollment fee. Students who do this will have to start at the beginning of the lessons they dropped out of. Students who were Congregants or Dedicates at this time will lose access to the Temple Website upon the dropping of their lessons, but will be gain them back when they re-start lessons. Those who have been initiated into our Temple at the time they drop their lessons will STILL have access to the Temple Site.

Grades
Students must receive a score of 80% or higher on a test/assignment for that individual test/assignment to be considered passing. Those Students who fail a test will be allowed to re-take the test one time. We encourage Students who fail a test/assignment to study what they missed and work harder on future lessons. Faling one or two tests/assignments is not going to end the world. We look at a Student's overall average for the course, their attendance (in class AND Temple Activities), and their overall attitude when deciding whether or not to accept them into further training with our Temple. A Student must receive an 80% or higher on the overall course to be eligible to be considered for further training with our Temple.

Participation
We also ask that all Students participate in Temple Activities. (Also, some activities are only open to members of a certain rank) For Congregants, most activities are not mandatory, but we will be watching to see how much effort you put into attending these events. For Dedicates and Initiates, most events are mandatory, and NOT attending a certain amount of them will result in your Temple Membership being suspended or terminated. If your Membership is terminated, so are your lessons!

Payments
Our Witchcraft 101 Lessons have the cost of $10 to enroll. Payment for our Witchcraft 101 Lessons MUST be received by the end of the first week of classes. If payment is not received from the Student by that time, they will be un-enrolled from the Witchcraft 101 Lessons. If a Student is dropped from a course for non-attendance and would like to pay the $5 re-enrollment fee, we must receive the payment from them before they re-start their lessons. All payments must be mailed to our Temple, and we will accept money orders or cash only. We prefer that you send a money order, but will accept cash if you are unable to send a money order or check. We do not accept chekcs, credit or debit cards.

Well, we hope this gives you a clear idea of our policies for our Temple's Training Program. Policies may be changed and updated by the High Priestess and High Council as the need arises. Blessed Be!
